Beginning Arabic Readers

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Dear Sis Umm Ahmad, these are two of the Arabic readers we were talking about. Please let me know if this is what you meant. The first one is the classic rhyme, "What Do You See?", with fruit, in Arabic. I've used this book in my class for years. The second book is a small story from the Medina Arabic Reade Book 1 (you can download the book here or here insha'Allaah). I thought this may be easy to read because the books are designed for students who are learning to read Arabic. I did not put the tashkeel (vowel marks) as you asked (the Medina Arabic book has tashkeel). I have another book that I just wrote for personal use and I will upload that later today or tomorrow for you insha'Allaah. Please let me know if this is what you had in mind.

The first book, on the right, is "My House" and is a short story from Medina Arabic Reader, Book 1.
The second book, on the left, is "What Do You See?".

  5. Waalaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Admin: Jazakillahu khayr! I downloaded them. Looking foward to playing the game insha'Allaah. Wa feki barak Allaah.

Sis Mujahida: To bind the books? I just cut the paper of the books out. The local print centre binds them for a few dollars for me alhamdulillaah. I have heard that they sell these machines online and that they are not too expensive but I do not know where to get them. I like binding my books, subhana'Allaah, the children love them and like to carry them around "reading" them...hehe. I think, perhaps, it makes the books more personal? Allaahu a'lam.

I have posted the sentence you asked about below.

    أَرَى بَـطَـاطَـا بُـنِّـيَّـةً، هَـذَا مَـا أَرَاهُ

    Insha'Allaah, it is helpful.

  9. Assalamu Alaikum. I am very happy I found your site Alhamdulilah. I am starting to homeschool my child. I would like to know if there is an online muslim community where muslim parents can discuss with other muslim parents about raising children, asking questions about how to teach a certain Islamic lesson, etc...? JazakiAllahu khairan.
