Beginning Counting Activity for the Letter Haa

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Here is a beginning counting activity to go with the postcard for the letter Haa.

Hawth is the word for tub in Arabic, so children take little rubber ducks and glue the correct number of corresponding ducks in each tub. They also practice one-to-one correspondence (this means that the child points to only one object when they are counting and they stop counting when all objects have been touched) after placing the correct amount of ducks in each tub. This activity is intended for young toddlers who are just beginning to learn how to count and associate a physical number with objects.

Enjoy insha'Allaah!
