Outside My World (Book 22)

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Alhamdulillaah, this is book #22, 'Outside My World', that supplements the Islamic Studies Curriculum used by sis Umm Maimoonah. This is the last book for this curriculum but please check back as I will be posting book 18, 'Allaah Gave Me Clothes' soon insha'Allaah (this book is currently not available).

In this book, 'Outside My World', children are invited to complete many activities related to the solar system. Children learn two more of Allaah's Beautiful Names; they are invited to make a solar system mobile to hang from the ceiling; they have a chance to write their own space story (for children who are not writing yet, they can dictate the sentence to a parent or sibling who can write it for them insha'Allaah); they learn about and label the parts of a space shuttle, and more alhamdulillaah!

Parts of this book are in colour with the reasoning that I was not sure if it would be easy to distinguish the characteristics of the different planets in black and white. If you feel this will be no problem (i.e. distinguishing each planet's characteristics in black and white), printing the book in grey-scale should save your ink *smile* insha'Allaah.

  1. Assalaamu Alaikum dear sister,

Jazzakillaah Khayr for this very intelligently presented book, subhanallaah! It is so wonderful and we are printing out right away. The problem with my printer is it prints everything pink and grey : ). But I will see how we can make it nice Insha Allaah!

So this will be the last book on our Islaam is my Life Pre School Curriculum Insha Allaah! May Allaah reward you immensely for all these wonderful books you have put out to help us and our kids and may Allaah make this very heavy upon your scale of good deeds and give you the best station in Jannah ukhtee. Love you for the sake of Allaah and may Allaah make us companions in Jannaah too. Aameen!

  2. Sister, on page 6 of the book, circling the letter, the last one I think you have missed out the correct letter to circle.

Alhamdulillaah...indeed all of the Praise is due to Allaah Alone who has allowed me to complete this (well, I have almost completed *smile*, I have to post book 19 insha'Allaah - may Allaah allow me to do so). I pray that He accepts it from me. Ameen to your dua wa jazakillaahu khayr.

And may He for whom you have love me, love you. Ya ukhti I too love you fee sabilillaah!

And you are correct, I did miss the correct letter to circle (I've fixed it...jazakillaahu khayr), and you know what I had impression last night that I should go back and check that and I said no, I think it was okay.
