Quraan Centre Word Work: Surah An-Nasr Activities & Workbook

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Alhamdulillaah, this is the word work for Surah An-Nasr:

In this word work packet students have the workbook that they have become accustomed to. They also have word cards that the teacher/parent-teacher cuts in two and the students must rematch the cards to make the correct words from the Surah. There is also a flip book that is easy to assemble and comes with word cards with words from the surah and also blank word cards for teachers/parent-teachers to add more words later. With the flip book, the cards can be placed inside the book using Velcro or easy to remove tape to allow the cards to be changed easily. Students can play several games with the flip book to help them learn the words from the surah insha'allaah. There are tracing worksheets for students to practice their handwriting and more!

Download the book here insha'Allaah.

Enjoy insha'Allaah!

  3. Assalamu alaykum,
JazakAllah Khayr for these Qur#an centred activities. These are perfect to teach them how to blend and read. And I liked the variety of activities within each book. My daughters loved them.
Only my eldest found it a bit easy and kept asking me to print her the same worksheets for surat al Fajr. InshaAllah we will get there yes :)

  7. Asalmulakum,
Can you explain what to do with the squares with words in red? I am learning along side my son so specific directions would be oh so helpful inshallah.

sis Umm Carter, please forgive the delay in responding.

With regard to the words cards with red letters: they are used with the page that proceeds them to make little flip books. If you tape them down lightly, you can change the words in the book and give the child clues about which word is hidden under the flap. After the child has tried to guess, you can give him/her the flip book and allow them to look to confirm their guess.

Of course, if you think of other ideas to use with the flip book, you can do play those games as well or in place of the suggestion above.

Jazakillaahu khayr for taking time to leave a comment and again, my apologies for the tardy response.

Jazakillaahu khayr dear sis Umm Leena. Dear sis, in the Box window that is embedded in the post there is an arrow located in the bottom right hand corner of that box (from right to left, it is the third icon). If you click on that arrow you should be able to download the file insha'Allaah. Please let me know if you are unable to download the file. Also, please forgive the tardy response.

  9. As Salaamu Alaikum Sister,

I have been enjoying your website so much. We homeschool and I am incorporating some of your materials into our curriculum. I am currently working on collecting your Quran Surahs in Arabic. I am having difficulty with downloading some of these links from Box. I went ahead and got a free account with Box, but that did not seem to do the trick. Could you help me out? Also, do you have a list of all the surahs that you have prepared this way so I don't miss any of them, Inshallah? They are absolutely beautiful and may Allah reward you for all your efforts, Amin.

    1. Waalaikum assalam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh,

Dear sis Umm Naim, barakallaahu feki for your comment. You are the second person to leave such a comment. I have investigated and found that the problem is that my box account has exceeded its bandwidth. Subhana'Allaah. I will try to rectify this issue shortly in shaa' Allaah. If you would like to send me an email at authorummannuman@gmail.com, I can send the files to you via email in shaa' Allaah.

Also, I do not have a list of the surahs that were completed, but this should be no problem to compile biithnillaah. I will also try to continue adding more workbooks to this series in shaa' Allaah.

      Jazakillaahu khayr!
