Free Eid Card Printables!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Yes, it's not after Ramadan and here is a post *smile* but there is a very good reason for it....EID is close!

In the file below you'll find Eid Card Printables for kids. These cards are: Simple. Quick & Easy to make. Fun insha'Allaah.

To make the cards:

  • Download the file
  • Browse through to see which card(s) you'd like to print.
  • Click 'file', 'print' and then select the page you want to print (i.e. page 2). Print. *Printing on cardstock is great and will make the cards more durable*
  • First, cut the cards along the vertical dotted line in the center of the page.
  • Then fold the cards along the horizontal black line in the center of the page. (You may have to do some trimming along the edges because printers are different).
  • Let your child(ren) write their own special Eid message for loved ones inside.
  • Deliver them to loved ones!
Here is a sample of some of the cards:

Eid Day Reminder Cards

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

This is a last minute idea that was inspired by sis Mabsoota's On Eid Day graphic over at Easel & Ink. I was trying to find a way for the small ones to learn the sequence of the steps/events that we do the day of Eid.  Also, I am hoping that if they can have something to help them through the steps, it will be easier for them to help in the process of getting ready that day insha'Allah.

I can't print right now so this is a screen shot *smile*:
The fourth card looks a bit off centre compared to the rest but all cards are the same size insha'Allah *smile* including the fourth one. I think in the file they all have that appearance but they are the same size insha'Allah. If they're not and I've goofed please tell me.

I'm not really sure what made me decide to make the cards in a style similar to a recipe card. I think I was thinking of easy storage and that I can punch a hole in the upper right hand corner of the cards and put them on a metal ring so the cards are easy to tote along insha'Allah.

You're welcome to use the cards. You can download them here insha'Allah.

Enjoy insha'Allah!

Eid Decorations - Part 2

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

This is our second Eid-ul-Fitr decoration alhamdulillah and it was a collective effort. I'm certain if I had done this mobile alone the circles would have been - let's say.....not exactly lined up properly...lol.

The mobile hanging on the wall
You can't see it but I put beads on the bottom to keep the rows of circles weighed down.

Eid Decorations - Part 1

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

As Eid-ul-Fitr draws near insha'Allah, I've started thinking about some decorations that the little ones can enjoy insha'Allah. This is the first of them:

Each of the decorations is three sided and has a thin piece of string at the top to hang them from the ceiling insha'Allah.

Insha'Allah, I'll try to make enough of these to make a....how can I describe it? Not a train but you know, a lot of them hanging from the ceiling. Hmm...does that make sense?

I'm thinking to add a border around the edge of the circles - maybe moons, stars, flowers, etc. insha'Allah. I've even decided on a colour theme for all of the Eid decorations...lol. Pastel colours: green, pink, yellow and blue but I think that this may not be appreciated by the boys. Maybe they'd like dark blue, white and black insha'Allah?

For newborns you can make these in black and white to make it easier for them to see and focus on them insha'Allah. Hang them high enough where they cannot reach up and take them down and let them enjoy insha'Allah *smile*

Enjoy insha'Allah!
