Ramadan Collage

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

This is our first Ramadan craft activity:

A Ramadan Collage

This is an easy, fun craft made using contact paper and any materials you feel would look nice on a collage for Ramadan insha'Allah. You can even tape these on to a window and they look very nice that way masha'Allah.

I saw a video for this a while back and now can't find it subhana'Allah. But here is how you make it insha'Allah:

First tape a piece of contact paper onto the work surface:

Then, stick the words 'Ramadan Mubarak' where you would like. For younger toddlers you may wish to ask them where they want the words and assist them in placing the letters correctly insha'Allah.

Next, invite the child to stick the materials anywhere on the paper he/she wishes insha'Allah:

When the child is done, cover the collage using another piece of contact paper insha'Allah:

Last, seal the collage (so it doesn't come apart later) with packing tape:

All done!

For this collage, I sat out a tray with construction paper prayer rugs, foam letters, construction paper moons, puff balls and glitter. There is a lot of room for creativity with this craft and it is an excellent activity to promote sensory stimulation and fine motor skill practice insha'Allah. But, mostly it's just plain fun for kids alhamdulillah (smile).

Enjoy insha'Allah!
