Small Book About Charity: Your input please

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Dear sisters, I put together this small book about charity for Ramadan. I would appreciate it if you can give your (and your children's) constructive criticism to help me make it its best insha'Allah. I have an idea for it but I want it to be in top form first *smile*. Your advice/input/suggestions are appreciated and welcome. Also, if you would prefer to tell me what you think of the book privately, you can email me your input insha'Allah *smile*. Jazakum Allahu Khayran!

Click here to download the colour PDF book insha'Allah.
Download the black and white version here insha'Allah.

  1. Assalaamu Alaikum !

Masha Allaah very nice book. I like it! It makes kids think. Its nice if you could include this part of the hadeeth too "“And your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, your removing of stones, thorns, and bones from people’s paths is charity, and your guiding a man gone astray in the world is charity for you.” Insha Allaah. So our kids know even if you have no money you can just smile and get the reward of charity. It carries a long way. I taught Maimoonah this and she wants to smile at everyone and she says smiling is charity! : )

  2. Waalaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Oh! Jazakillahu Khayr! Great idea! What I'd like to do is have the copy centre make several copies of these, bind them and then I wanted to send them to an Islamic School for Ramadan insha'Allah. So this is why I want to tweek everything to be just right insha'Allah *smile*. This is also why the text is repetitive - I would like for the children after hearing the book read aloud to be able to read it independently insha'Allah, with ease.

I appreciate your feedback and suggestion dear sis!

  5. Waalaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Wa iyaki wa Jazakillahu khayr dear sis Umm Abdul Basir! I hope your children enjoy the book insha'Allah ((Hug!))

Sis Umm Maimoonah, ameen to your dua ((Hug!)). Umm An-Nu'man is a slave of Allah who is in need of Her Lord's Mercy and Forgiveness.

I hope that Maimoonah enjoys the book too insha'Allah.

Let me know dear sisters if your children have any suggestions about what they'd like to see insha'Allah *smile*.
